You'll visit the gracious Taj Mahal, the sheer poetry in marble. This splendid monument was built by Shah Jahan in fond memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Today, this epitome of love is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the World. You'll also visit Agra Fort, Diwan-e-Aam, Diwan-e-Khas, Musamman Burj, Moti Masjid, Dayal Bagh and Itmad-ud-Daulah's tomb.
Retire to your hotel after a long day of sightseeing. Have sumptuous dinner and stay overnight at Agra hotel.
On the second day, after breakfast, you'll be driven to railway station to board the train which will whisk you to Jhansi. From Jhansi, you'll be further driven to Khajuraho. En route, visit the magnificent temples at Orchha.
On your arrival at Khajuraho, you'll be taken to hotel. The evening is at leisure which you can spend relaxing and retiring. The dinner and overnight stay will be at hotel.
On day 3, after breakfast set out for the sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples offering you a peek into the rich heritage of India. Khajuraho is erstwhile Chandela Capital is a World Heritage Site. The serene and calm town boasts of a large collection of temples showcasing the amazing architecture of the medieval era. These temples remained untouched by the time. There are mainly three group of temples namely Western, Eastern and Southern Group. The beauty and grandeur of these 22 temples still enthrall the art connoisseurs. Find yourself astonished at the intricate carvings on murals and temple walls. The mythical creatures, Hindu gods and goddesses and erotic sculptures are the major highlights.
Return to the hotel after your tryst with the history frozen in stone at the Khajuraho temples. Overnight stay is scheduled at the hotel.
